Documentary on the beginning of the rehabilitation of a single-family terraced house in Mieres, La Garrotxa.
The work takes place in a stage prior to the design and construction processes. It follows the moment when the place and the house are chosen, understanding that architecture begins long before its formalization. The decision to inhabit involves recognizing the existing layers—of the environment, the building, and those who will live there—and projecting from them.
The documentary focuses on this earlier moment: observing the village, listening, and accompanying the future inhabitants in their decision-making. Rather than documenting an intervention, it approaches architecture as a slow process and as the conscious construction of a home in continuity with what already exists.
