Photographic documentation of two ephemeral installations created for LCI Barcelona – School of Design. Both exhibitions are based on the same concept: the use of modular honeycomb cardboard structures with a Kraft finish, a lightweight, recyclable, and biodegradable material that allows the construction of self-supporting elements without altering the existing architecture.
The structures are composed of interlocking pieces that can be dismantled and reused in future exhibitions. Their natural cardboard finish allows the displayed works—from different design disciplines—to stand out within the space.
Both installations propose open paths where visitors interact freely with the projects.
The photographs focus on the relationship between the exhibition space and those who move through it, showing how ephemeral architecture can temporarily transform the perception and use of a place.
Ana García and Zos Studio respectively designed the exhibitions.
